About the Role

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitation of kitchen areas, including floors, surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Ensure all kitchen appliances and tools are stored safely and correctly after use.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain security of the kitchen area by controlling access during night hours and ensuring all doors and windows are secured at shift end.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper waste disposal and handling of hazardous materials.

About You

  • Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a hotel or similar setting can provide valuable insight into hospitality standards.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation practices is essential for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and security are maintained consistently.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while remaining proactive and attentive to tasks.
